A.P.I. International Combat Arts World Federation

A.P.I. is an acronym for American, Philippine and Indonesian martial arts and is the personal system of Grandmaster Kurtis Goodwin established in 1990. It is our goal to provide effective self defense to our students.

We focus on combat arts that work in the real world. GM Goodwin has over 35 years experience in a variety of martial art. We teach Modern Arnis, Hinigaran Arnis De Mano, Pencak Silat, Kickboxing, Tibetan Kung Fu and Chi Kung.

The training programs encompass not only the physical but the mental and emotional aspects of combat. Our students learn how to fight effectively but also in healing and health practices.

We work on helping students come into balance and harmony through the martial arts. The skill sets learned here can be carried on in all aspects of life. We key on helping students learn self respect, courage, confidence, awareness and sensitivity while having a lot of fun in class.
