de Thouars Kun Tao Silat
Training Center Portland, Oregon

A.P. I. International Combat Arts
is the appointed Pacific North West Head Quarters for BaPak Willem de Thouars. We are an official training center of de Thouars Kun Tao Silat. Guru Kurtis Goodwin the founder of A.P.I. Int'l Combat Arts Assn., is a recognized practitioner with 15 years of training with the family.
Classes are open to the public and held Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday eves 6-7pm.
Upon my last visit training with Uncle Bill at his home, I was asked by him to post this list. He has come to the desire to let it be known there will be no more Sigungs, Gurus or Masters in Kun Tao Silat de Thouars. He said that there are now only Practitioners and students. Uncle Bill clarified this by adding that he just wants people that train. Sometimes when a person becomes a Guru they feel they have achieved what they need and do not train as uncle feels they should and weave themselves in a cocoon.
